In “Inquietudini” Cristina Sirizzotti entra nell’intimo tormento di Pier Paolo Pasolini, facendone emergere la forte conflittualità che ne contraddistinse la personalità.
Il disperato e feroce amore per la vita, l’abbandonarsi alle più intime passioni e lo spirito indipendente sottolineati da uno sfondo rosso, vanno a confliggere con la postura del soggetto immortalato che, circondato da un’atmosfera angosciante, si presenta nell’atto di difendersi.
La posa diviene metafora di una disperata fuga volta a salvaguardare la sua più grande debolezza: il senso di solitudine che lo trafisse, ma che lo rese forte e fragile allo stesso tempo.
Afflitto, con tutta la forza che ha in corpo l’uomo si protegge, stanco delle aggressioni esterne cui fu sottoposto e che ne caratterizzarono l’esistenza segnandone, infine, il tragico epilogo.

In “Disquiets”, Cristina Sirizzotti delves into Pier Paolo Pasolini’s intimate anguish, bringing out the strong conflictuality that characterised his personality.
The desperate and violent love of life, the renunciation of the most intimate passions and the independent spirit, emphasised by the red background, contrast with the posture of the immortalised subject, who, surrounded by an oppressive atmosphere, appears in the act of defending himself.
The pose becomes a metaphor for a desperate flight, aimed at protecting his greatest weakness: the sense of loneliness that pierced him but made him both strong and fragile.
Afflicted, with all the strength in his body, the man protects himself, tired of the external aggressions to which he was subjected and which marked his existence and ultimately marked his tragic epilogue.

Il circo della famiglia
Un nucleo famigliare e le sue dinamiche, è questo il senso insito in “Il circo della famiglia” di Cristina Sirizzotti.
Al centro di un dipinto meccanismi nei quali, spesso, quanto l’occhio percepisce non corrisponde al reale vivere.
All’esterno un gaio scenario dietro al quale si nasconde la nube del consumato.
I soggetti al centro dell’opera camminano in equilibrio su un filo, stretti tra loro, al di sotto del quale si pone il vuoto del quotidiano, un rischio da cui è difficile districarsi.
Stabili, dunque, uniti e protesi verso l’avvenire, circondati da risvolti impossibili da prevedere.

At the centre of the painting are mechanisms in which what the eye sees is often not what it really is.
Outside, a cheerful scene, behind which hides the cloud of consumption.
At the centre of the work, the subjects walk in balance, clasped together, on a thread, under which lies the emptiness of everyday life, a danger from which it is difficult to free oneself. Stable, then, united and leaning towards the future, surrounded by implications that are impossible to predict.

Entrambe le opere saranno esposte nel corso della collettiva d’arte Art.Lab organizzata da Associazione Culturale infinityArt nell’ambito di “SEREgno d’estate” presso piazza Segni Seregno nei giorni 4 e 6 luglio dalle ore 10 alle ore 22.
Both works will be exhibited on 4 and 6 July from 10 am to 10 pm in Piazza Segni Seregno during the Art.Lab art collective organised by the infinityArt as part of ‘SEREgno d’estate’.
